Jeff's V8 Powered Fiero

For Sale : $6750 obo.

Miles???? 1700 since car was tore down for V8Archie Swap!!

How much has been invested?? TOO MUCH, and I have reciepts for much of it!!

See below for reciept info.

Your probably saying to yourself, "There must be something wrong with this little lady, for that price. Well, nothing that can't be replaced inexpensively.

This V8 Powered Fiero could be yours. Sure, like any car with an ORIGIONAL paint job, she could probably use one. (Though she has NO sun spots, and obviously no rust, since she is all fiberglass/plastics) It's not that she MUST have one, only that she has quite a few little rock scratches/paint chips. Otherwise, her body is in almost imaculate condition. As far as interior goes, it is in decent condition. It has obvious wear, seats are in ok condition with normal wear on driver seat. Her carpet has a few stains, and she could use a new radio console cover (apx $35-40) Otherwise the only other interior flaw is a small gash in driver side vent from someone tall smacking their knee into her. It's not a huge gash, and could probably just be fixed, rather than replaced.

NECESSARY MECHANICAL FIXES

Needs Ring/Pinion (apx. $350 labor, plus parts used-$50-75 new-$225-275)

THAT'S ALL,

Transaxle is in good shape other than ring/pinion, and Kevlar Clutch is in new condition as well...

Specifications :

355 Chevy Short Block (350cid, bored .040)

Edelbrock Performer Intake w/650cfm Edelbrock 4bbl. Carburator

Crane Camshaft

Hi Performance Coil and Distributor

(Crank is only origional part left in engine, all other has been replaced)

TCI Racing Starter

Moroso Electric Water Pump

Twin Fuel Pump system (one in tank, one mechanical)

External oil filter housing w/high temperature/high pressure hydraulic lines (Custom made!!! Not that cheap garbage they give you with the external oil housings!) (oil filter won't fit on engine in Fiero V8 Swap (would smack frame))

2 Core radiator (removed air conditioner coil for added air flow) During summer months car ran at apx 185-195 degrees) 160 degree thermostat.

4 speed Muncie transaxle (horizontal mount) final gear ratio 1:1 (needs ring/pinion gears)

KEVLAR CLUTCH (Custom designed for use in these cars. $379 alone) They say you'll replace the transazle before you replace this clutch, and they weren't kidding. Maybe not the transmition, but a ring and pinion anyway. Keep in mind the origional transaxle was used for this swap, and it had quite a few miles on it.. I good used transaxle could be bought and installed for apx $750. (that was the estimate I got.) New slave cylinder and hydraulic lines

Monroe Suspension kit (lowering springs, shocks, struts, and sway bars front/rear (sway bars not installed))

200 MPH V8Archie Speedometer

Converted Tach from 6 cyl. to 8 cyl. (accurate to 100 RPM) (Professionally converted)

Complete brake replacement (rotors, pads, calipers, ect.... ALL REPLACED!!)

New tires (Firestones I believe, Sorry, can't remember) 235/60R14

Custom Designed Exhaust system, not 50 state legal, but only loud enough to get ticketed by one of the cops youd probably have more fun pissing off than to worry about the ticket. In the 1700 miles, I was never ticketed, and wouldn't expect you to be either. (the cops in my hometown are 50% pigs, 50% cool guys)

I spent the first 1000 miles finding all those little anoying problems, and this car was running GREAT until I lost a few teeth on the ring and pinion. I have no doubt that with a new ring and pinion this car will not require much mechanical adjustment...!!!!.....!!!!!!

Reciepts?? I have over $4000 worth or reciepts just for parts. This discludes the purchase of the car ($2000), the V8Archie kit($3300), and the engine ($1900)

As you can see, over $11000 has been invested in this car, but I don't really have the time to drive the car, much anything else. I am releasing this car to the hands of one lucky person who gives me the best offer on it.. I LOVE THIS CAR!!! I don't really have to get rid of it, but I enjoy working on cars more than driving them, though this one handles awesome, even without the front/rear sway bars installed. I have pretty much done all I wanted to this car. If I don't sell it, I will probably just have it fixed, and get a nice custom paint just, the interior refinished, and show it.......

Give me your best offer
